The Northward-word is probably the well-nigh loaded word in the English language today. Generally, information technology is understood that the use of the N-word is reserved for people of African-American descent. Every bit someone who is mixed black & white, information technology is something that has always been on my mind. I personally don't use the word, but not because I don't believe I have the right to. I just didn't grow up with information technology being used around me. I call back most of us can agree on that. But when you're mixed race, like myself, the rules can get blurry. I grew upwards in a relatively well-off community where the North-word was never used. Information technology was never part of my environment growing upwardly, and using information technology now feels forced and unnecessary.
Latinx people have had to endure racism in America just similar African-Americans have, but they haven't experienced the specific form of racism that is anti-black. This is where I starting time to take effect.
The Northward-word comes from the Latin word "niger"— which ways "black." And you lot probably won't hear someone who is African-American using derogatory terms that are originally intended for a unlike race.
I do think that it is great that some black communities have flipped the pregnant of the N-word from a negative to a positive, merely if they didn't employ it at all, then in that location would be far less white kids, who love rap, running around and proverb the Due north-give-and-take considering they don't know any meliorate.
I also don't think that other indigenous minorities should get a pass from maxim it because they as well experience racism. It's a like simply unlike struggle.

I'yard mixed, but I'chiliad similar actually pale. So I experience like if I say the n word in public, no one will believe that I'm also blackness, and will probably kill me….
I am mixed and I don't use it I don't feel it fits me and how I grew upwardly.
I feel like if the word has been used confronting u u can reclaim it. This goes for merely people that are mixed (African American and Caucasian.)

If u ask me, I retrieve that people that'southward fully black (even light skinned) can simply say the word. If ur mixed then it'south okay but still not okay. You need to be fully black to say it even if ur more than blackness than ur mixed race, recollect about it. Latin America is a huge continent and, although our countries accept lots in common, we are not withal thing.
